A comprehensive IoT solution for monitoring and managing industrial cooling systems, built around a custom sensor engineered from scratch. Aquaplumb tracks motor and cooler temperature, water outflow, water level, and fire conditions in real time — and can automatically shut the cooler down and alert the team the moment a hazard is detected.
The Challenge
Industrial cooling systems often fail unexpectedly, leading to costly downtime, safety hazards, and energy waste. Traditional monitoring is reactive rather than predictive, and off-the-shelf sensors couldn't track the specific parameters that mattered most — motor temperature, water outflow, water level, and fire conditions.
Our Solution
Engineered a custom IoT sensor from the ground up to monitor motor and cooler temperature, water outflow, water level, and fire conditions, paired with a cloud platform for real-time monitoring and remote control. When the sensor detects a fire, it automatically shuts the cooler down and instantly notifies the team, while machine learning algorithms flag potential failures before they occur.
